Who's Ready for some Football????!!!

SUPERBOWL!!  Ok, so the big game is over now - but we can't forget about the yummy football treats!  I received an order for a platter of cookies that were footballs - but not team specific.  I'm guessing there must have been a mixed crowd watching the game together?!  So that was what I created - 30 football cookies on a platter.  At least it was something sweet to go along with the wings, chips and salsa, and other savory items that I'm sure were there!

An Under the Sea Party!

When Christine came to me with an underwater theme, we threw around a few "sea creature" type designs.  When it was decided on, her daughter chose mermaids, seahorses, and nemo type clown fish.  I loved seeing Christine's reaction when she came to pick up her order - exactly what I'd hoped for - she loved them!  Afterward, I got to see a few pictures taken from the party.  She had to have had a fabulous balloon artist there - the guests came home with all kinds of underwater creature balloon hats.  What a cool idea!!  I'll have to store that in my plans for future parties.

Happy Birthday Ethan!

Once again, this party was weeks ago - but I am trying my hardest to get caught up!

Ethan (and the whole family) are BIG soccer fans!  So when it came time for his birthday, soccer cookies were the first thought.  He plays soccer for ITAA (Indian Trail Athletic Association) and their main color is maroon. I'm sure he had a great party with all of his soccer buddies.

Happy Birthday Ethan!!

Happy 4th Birthday Preston!

Even though Preston's birthday was a couple of weeks ago, I couldn't pass up the chance to blog about his fabulous birthday.  His birthday party was at Noah's Art at the Blakeney shopping center.  I've actually never had a chance to go there - so I was excited for my boys to get to go and do something a little new - while celebrating Preston's birthday.  I would definitely recommend them for parties!  They did a story time, painted pictures on the kids' hands, and did a few different crafts all relating to the theme of the party - Percy the train of course.  Since Noah's Art is a kids art studio of sorts, we did a paint palette theme when it came to cupcakes and cookies.  I apologize for the random cupcake picture - my brain wasn't working that day and I forgot to take a picture of the cupcakes until right when the kids were about to start eating.  Enjoy!
